HARMAN SPECIALTY GROUP APPOINTS WALTER SCHOFIELD
MARK LEVINSON VP OF SALES AND MARKETING
CEDIA EXPO, INDIANAPOLIS, IN, September 9, 2005 — Harman Specialty Group, a Harman International Company (NYSE-HAR), has named Walter Schofield as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the distinguished Mark Levinson brand. John Batliner, Executive Vice President of Sales at Harman Specialty Group, made the announcement, indicating Schofield’s appointment will assist the company in continuing its dedicated marketing initiative for the Mark Levinson line of high-end consumer audio products.
As Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mark Levinson, Schofield will apply his commitment to establishing goal-oriented business structure and producing tangible, sustained results. Schofield has gathered two decades of expertise in the fields of sales and marketing, with specialized attention to the home theater and consumer audio sectors. Throughout tenures at CWD International, Ensemble, Linn Inc. and others, he has set sales records and successfully set up as well as maintained numerous sales networks. Additionally, Schofield will use his abilities to develop and implement tailored marketing programs to enhance revenue, create effective partnerships and draw consumer notice.
