ADAM Audio announces new line of DSP-powered subwoofers and the evolution of its software-based calibration platform.
Berlin, Germany (October 8, 2026) – ADAM Audio is proud to announce the arrival of the Sub8 PRO and Sub10 PRO DSP-powered subwoofers, along with the introduction of ADAM Control, the management and calibration platform for all existing and future network-connected devices.
Precision Low-Frequency PerformanceAt the core of the subs are the high-performance 8-inch and 10-inch woofers featuring fiber-reinforced paper cones and elasticated rubber surrounds. The combination allows considerable excursion while maintaining the mechanical integrity required for accurate, controlled bass reproduction. Class D amplification works in tandem with the sophisticated onboard DSP, which manages crossovers, filtering and equalization to deliver consistent performance across the subwoofers’ frequency and SPL ranges.
Optimized Port Design for Maximum Output
The bass ports have been developed with efficient performance in mind. Finite Element Analysis was used to optimize the curvature of the ports, creating more consistent air speeds along their lengths. This minimizes turbulence while allowing the Sub8 PRO and Sub10 PRO to achieve high sound pressure levels with clean, controlled low-frequency output.
ADAM Control and DSP-Based Calibration
Both models can be managed and calibrated over Ethernet via ADAM Control – ADAM Audio’s free-of-charge management and calibration software (the successor to A Control) that is also launched today. ADAM Control software facilitates the precise adjustment of equalization, gain, phase and delay settings across stereo and multichannel Sub PRO and A Series systems.
Integrated SoundID Reference Support
Both models also feature the same innovation as found on the award-winning line of A Series studio monitors. Via ADAM Control, advanced filters created in SoundID Reference by Sonarworks can be deployed directly to the DSP platform embedded on the devices.
Flexible Room Correction Workflows
ADAM Control thus offers two distinct calibration possibilities for stereo and multichannel systems: manually in the software at no additional cost, or the more automated approach offered by SoundID Reference. Both A Series and Sub PRO customers can benefit from an exclusive 60-day trial of SoundID Reference, plus a 25% discount if they decide to purchase.
Ready for Stereo, Surround and Immersive Audio
For digital studio environments, the Sub8 PRO and Sub10 PRO include AES3 connectivity for audio at up to 24-bit/96 kHz. An XLR/TRS combination socket is also included for analog audio. For immersive workflows, LFE Mode provides a cutoff tailored to Dolby Atmos® systems, while Wide Mode allows the subwoofer to operate across its full available range. A convenient bypass input is also included for toggling bass management with a footswitch.
Designed in Berlin, Built to Last
Designed in Berlin, the new models feature solid wooden cabinets, protective metal grilles and a distinctive speckled bass-port finish, with matching curvature across the enclosure. Both subwoofers include a two-year warranty as standard, extending to five years upon product registration.
The Sub8 PRO and Sub10 PRO are available at U.S. MAP pricing of $1,199.99 and $1,499.99, respectively.
