This year’s Musikmesse sees the release of all-new versions of Waves Ltd.’s acclaimed DSP plug-ins, optimized to take full advantage of the most recent technological advancements. With updated features and functionality throughout the product line, Waves V4.6 is the new space to play.

Renowned the world over for its exceptional digital signal processing software and hardware products, Waves has taken the art of the plug-in to a whole new level with the launch of Version 4.6. Notable additions in V4.6 include tempo sync and MIDI instrument control. Waves also debuts four plug-ins in V4.6, Enigma, Metaflanger, MondoMod and SuperTap, which utilize the new capability of sync to host tempo. This enables the plug-ins to lock to the host application’s tempo and tie relevant controls to the tempo of the song.

With Version 4.6, the unique Waves Morphoder from its Transform Bundle becomes a true virtual instrument. In every supported host application, the user can assign a MIDI track output to an open instance of the Morphoder and play its internal carrier from a MIDI track, using recorded MIDI data or live playback from a MIDI controller. MIDI control support for the Morphoder is implemented in DAE, VST, DX8, MAS and Audio Units.

V4.6’s expanded toolset is offered as part of the Waves Update Plan (WUP), available directly via a Waves online account or through an authorized Waves dealer. Under the WUP, all version updates are provided to the user for a full year, with pricing scaled to the registered products in the user’s Waves account. WUP also delivers a full return on investment with complete re-authorization capability. This convenient program allows Waves users to focus their attention on the project at hand, with the assurance they are equipped with the most advanced, precision audio processing tools in the trade.
