FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

M3 (Music Mix Mobile) Adds DiGiGrid and New SoundGrid® Components to Workflow

— GRAMMY®- and EMMY®-winning remote recording specialists expand their arsenal with the new DiGiGrid MGO Optical MADI Interface and Waves MultiRack SoundGrid® system. —

THE NAMM SHOW, ANAHEIM, CA, January 23, 2014 M3 (Music Mix Mobile), a New Jersey/California-based remote-facilities company combining the talents of award-winning production professionals and state-of-the-art audio solutions, has recently added to their workflow a number of DiGiGrid components incorporating Waves SoundGrid® from distributor Waves Audio Inc. (booth 6824). Specifically, these longtime Waves users have added the DiGiGrid MGO Optical MADI Interface with Waves MultiRack SoundGrid system, significantly expanding their interface capability and Waves arsenal. These components were selected by Joel Singer, Engineer-In-Charge for M3, after extensive evaluation and system demos.

“We are always looking for ways to streamline our workflow with intuitive, reliable products, and it was the right time to make the move to these components,” stated Singer. “Since we are utilizing Waves in live broadcast situations, latency is of great concern.  We have recently upgraded all of our mixing systems to AVID HDX DSP, which required a new solution for running our most valuable Waves plugins in real time, with minimal latency. Enter DiGiGrid. The system has been stable, and we’re looking forward to using it to its full potential at upcoming events.”

A true live broadcast breakthrough, MultiRack SoundGrid is a software host that lets engineers run multiple instances of Waves plugins—the same plugins used in recording studios and mixing rooms the world over—simultaneously and in real time.

The compact and portable DiGiGrid MGO Optical MADI Interface lets users plug any MADI-enabled device into the power of the Waves SoundGrid networking and processing platform.

M3 recently wrapped up a Billy Joel New Year’s Eve celebration at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and will be heading to Los Angeles for the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards, broadcast live from the Staples Center on January 26, 2014, before returning to NYC for the Super Bowl events.

Mick Olesh, Waves Executive VP, Sales, comments, “It’s great to have Music Mix Mobile invest in the DiGiGrid network and further expand their investment in Waves. Having them push the system in a demanding environment is the best way of demonstrating the versatility of DiGiGrid.”

DiGiGrid MGO and MGB are now available with a U.S. MSRP of $2000 and a MAP of $1700. Visit http://www.digigrid.net/ and www.waves.com for more information.
