Waves Audio to Hold Star-Studded “Bridge the Gap”
Masterclass Event on November 12 in Miami
KNOXVILLE, TN, November 1, 2019 — On Tuesday, November 12, 2019 (7:30 pm–10:00 pm EST), Waves Audio will be hosting the latest in its series of “Bridge the Gap” mixing masterclasses at Wyster Media in Miami, FL (649 NE 81st St, Miami, FL 33138). “Bridge the Gap” events explore strategies of bridging the worlds of studio and live audio. This unique evening is an opportunity to meet 3 world-class mix engineers (Chris “C-Rod” Rodriguez, Will Madera and Carlos Paucar) and hear them discuss their mixing approaches in both studio and live environments. The event is free, but space is limited. RSVP here.
The evening will be opened by Chris “C-Rod” Rodriguez, an artist among the top producers and remixers working today, and with credits ranging from Latin artists Celia Cruz, Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez to a string of recent smash successes in EDM and dance music (Lady Gaga, Pet Shop Boys). FOH mixer Will Madera will talk about how he mixes Pitbull’s band live on stage using the Waves eMotion LV1 live mixer, and which plugins he uses to bring studio quality to the stage with clarity and warmth. The evening will be closed by Carlos Paucar, who will discuss his studio mixing approach. His credits include Enrique Iglesias, Shakira, Chris Brown and Jewel, just to name a few.
Refreshments will be served from 7 pm. Event begins at 7:30 pm.
Parking is street only. Ride sharing services are recommended.
