Genelec continues to expand Smart IP ecosystem with new third-party integration solutions
InfoComm, Las Vegas, NV, June 17, 2026 — Genelec (booth N6257) recently announced new third-party integration developments for its award-winning Smart IP family of networked loudspeakers. Building on Smart IP’s reputation for delivering exceptional sound quality, scalability, and simple installation over a single CAT cable, Genelec is deepening interoperability with a wide range of third-party control systems and network hardware providers. This closer integration ensures seamless compatibility with industry leaders, further solidifying Genelec’s Smart IP’s role as the preferred loudspeaker solution for fully networked AV environments.
For even closer integration with control systems and network hardware, Genelec now offers a growing range of Smart IP drivers and setup support, including compatibility with leading third-party systems such as Crestron, NetGear AV, Q-SYS, Pharos, Lightware, Symetrix and AMX.
With the growing demand for flexible, scalable and easily managed AV systems across corporate, educational, hospitality, professional audio and residential sectors, Smart IP’s expanded third-party support makes it easier than ever for system designers and integrators to build powerful, streamlined installations. Leveraging open standards like AES67 and Dante®, combined with Smart IP’s own open API and Smart IP Manager configuration software, Genelec now provides tighter integration with major control platforms – allowing users to effortlessly manage loudspeaker settings such as volume, mute, power, room equalization, monitoring status, and more directly within familiar control environments.

GLM’s reference microphone kit allows the user’s acoustic environment to be analyzed, after which GLM’s AutoCal feature optimizes each Smart Active Monitor for level, distance delay, subwoofer crossover phase and room response equalization, with the option of further fine tuning by the user. By minimizing the room’s influence on the sound, Smart Active Monitors deliver an unrivalled reference, with excellent translation between rooms.
