Genelec showcases Smart IP portfolio with in-ceiling, pendant and subwoofer offerings
InfoComm, Las Vegas, NV, June 17, 2026 — Genelec (booth N6257) is showcasing its Smart IP family at InfoComm, including the 4435A in-ceiling speaker, 4436A pendant speaker and 3440A subwoofer. Together, they combine high-performance audio, refined industrial design and the simplicity of single-CAT cable connectivity, delivering scalable, easy-to-install solutions for retail, hospitality and public environments.
The 4435A provides discreet, high-quality ceiling audio with up to 104 dB SPL and a 58 Hz–39 kHz frequency response, while offering round or square magnetic grilles in black or white. The 4436A is designed for open, high-ceiling spaces, delivering controlled sound coverage from a durable pendant enclosure.
Extending system performance, the 3440A subwoofer delivers low-frequency output down to 35 Hz with 106 dB SPL, powered via PoE and requiring no external amplification, enabling compact, full-range system design.
All models support Dante® and AES67 audio networking and integrate with Genelec’s Smart IP Manager software for configuration, room optimization and system monitoring. Additionally, Genelec now offers a growing range of Smart IP drivers and setup support, including compatibility with leading third-party systems such as Crestron, NetGear AV, Q-SYS, Pharos, Lightware, Symetrix and AMX.
These models are a perfect complement to the Genelec 4410A, 4420A, and 4430A two-way, on-wall Smart IP loudspeakers. All are available immediately from Genelec, Inc.

By minimizing the room’s influence on the sound, Smart Active Monitors deliver an unrivalled reference, with excellent translation between rooms.
