Allen Sides, the GRAMMY® Award-winning engineer, producer and mixer who founded Ocean Way Recording in 1973, developed these renowned speakers systems. His studios and his Ocean Way Monitoring Systems have since helped artists like The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Eminem, Janet Jackson and Radiohead, to name a few, create milestone music recordings. Through an exclusive arrangement with GC Pro, the famed Ocean Way Monitoring Systems can now be custom tailored and installed in commercial recording facilities, private studios, home theatres and a variety of other critical listening environments.
The acquisition and implementation of Ocean Way Monitoring Systems is as much an exceptional experience as using them. Each system is designed and custom made to order after Ocean Way’s technical specialists, including Allan Sides, have personally analyzed the space a user intends to install them in. The price of an Ocean Way system includes a pre-evaluation of the studio, as well as complete installation and alignment, all cables, connectors and wiring.
Working with the GC Pro Account manager, the Ocean Way team will also make suggestions to cost-effectively correct any potential problems before a monitor system is installed. Ocean Way is happy to do this in existing spaces or using architectural plans for a new space. In addition, GC Pro and Ocean Way guarantee the end user that every aspect of what you would hear listening to a track in the control room at Ocean Way Recording Studios is the exact sound you will hear in your room.
