GUITAR CENTER TO SELL DELL® COMPUTERS
— Guitar Center to sell Dell desktop and notebook systems powered
by
Dual-Core AMD processors for professional audio applications —
NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2007 — Guitar Center
(NASDAQ-GTRC), America’s leading professional audio recording
equipment and musical instruments retailer, announced today that it
will be an authorized reseller of Dell® desktop and notebook systems,
powered by dual-core AMD (NYSE: AMD) processors. Guitar Center worked
closely with both companies to create desktop and notebook computers
specifically designed with the power, stability and reliability needed
for use in the professional digital audio recording market sector.
With the addition of Dell computers to the product assortment
at Guitar Center’s 214 stores, as well as guitarcenter.com and
Musician’s Friend, recording professionals in the music, post-production,
and other pro audio sectors will have a one-stop resource for purchasing
everything necessary to create a complete digital recording environment.
