Independent Soul Trio Wild Adriatic Employs the
Bose F1 Model 812 Flexible Array Loudspeaker

Framingham, MA, July 25, 2018 – Northeast-based soul-rock trio Wild Adriatic has been together for six years, most of that time spent touring. Over recent months, they’ve been using the Bose F1 Model 812 Flexible Array loudspeaker and subwoofer system from Bose Professional as their touring sound system. As a result, Wild Adriatic has been able to regularly fill in dates between the large clubs and theaters they’re booked in nearly year-round. “There’s no such thing as downtime, thanks to the Bose F1,” says Mateo Vosganian, Wild Adriatic’s drummer and manager. “Most of the venues we’re playing in around the world have their own production, which lets us tour lighter and more cost effectively. But there are always plenty of days here and there where we can do benefit gigs, parties and house concerts – places that won’t have their own sound and lights. With the Bose F1, we can make almost any kind of space work as a concert space.”

Vosganian says the compact size and light weight of the Bose F1 system, considering its power and coverage, mean they can travel with a sound system that doesn’t slow them down and that “opens the band and its music up to new opportunities” by letting them play more non-traditional venues and expose more new fans to their music. For instance, they’re scheduled to perform at an active-duty military-run Feed The Family benefit in Virginia in December. “They don’t have their own sound system, but we said, don’t worry, we do,” says Vosganian. “We’ve played in barns and breweries, anywhere and everywhere. The F1 is insanely portable and flexible. We’ve used other self-powered compact sound systems, but there is always a compromise between weight and sound quality. That’s not the case with the F1.” And the F1 Model 812 Flexible Array helps them take that even further. For instance, when playing house concerts in homes with wide open, multi-level floor plans, the F1 system allows them to adjust the vertical coverage pattern from four different presets to fit the space. Once set, the system automatically changes the EQ to maintain optimum tonal balance for each coverage pattern. “So wherever we’re playing, we can have the right coverage for each room,” he says.

Wild Adriatic first experienced the F1 system at a music festival in Wisconsin. There were nearly 30 clubs of various sizes and shapes hosting shows, and nearly all of them were outfitted with a Bose F1 sound system. “And every room sounded phenomenal,” Vosganian recalls. The F1 system is also valuable when Wild Adriatic does take its own version of downtime, which usually means hunkering down somewhere to write new songs and rehearse. Those occasions also take place in a variety of locations, and the acoustics can vary considerably from location to location. What remains consistent is the F1 system sound and reliability. “We take a total of about six weeks to write and rehearse, spread out over the course of a year,” says Vosganian. “The F1 is now always there with us, so we know the sound will be familiar and consistent.”
