Piscataway, NJ, August 11, 2026 — RCF USA today announced the appointment of Michael Curtis as Product Specialist and System Engineer, further strengthening the company’s technical support and customer education initiatives throughout North America. The announcement was made by Tarik Solangi, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, RCF USA, and underscores RCF’s ongoing investment in technical expertise, customer support and educational resources as demand continues to grow across touring, installed sound, houses of worship, education, production companies and commercial audio markets.
In his new role, Curtis will provide loudspeaker system design and application support for RCF’s growing network of consultants, integrators and sales partners while also leading the development of technical training, educational content and customer-focused resources across the company’s professional audio portfolio.
Curtis brings a unique combination of live sound, systems engineering and education experience to RCF. A musician and bassist by background, he began his career in live production before developing a passion for loudspeaker system optimization and deployment. He has spent years designing systems for production companies, houses of worship and commercial installations while building a respected educational platform that has helped thousands of audio professionals better understand system engineering and acoustics.
His relationship with RCF began nearly a decade ago while deploying RCF systems for large-scale productions, eventually expanding into design collaboration with the company's installation division. As RCF's North American business continued to grow, Curtis became increasingly involved in developing design workflows and supporting system engineering projects before officially joining the company full time.
As Product Specialist and System Engineer, Curtis will continue supporting RCF’s installation design services while helping expand the company’s technical education initiatives. His responsibilities include creating customer training programs, developing product and application videos, supporting consultants and integrators with comprehensive system design packages, and helping customers maximize the performance of RCF solutions across a broad range of applications.
“Michael brings a rare combination of technical expertise, real-world experience and a genuine passion for teaching,” said Tarik Solangi. “He understands not only how to design exceptional sound systems, but how to communicate complex concepts in a way that makes them approachable. As RCF continues to expand throughout North America, Michael will play an important role in helping our customers, partners and end users get the very best from our products while strengthening the educational resources that set RCF apart.”
Curtis says the opportunity to join RCF was driven by the company’s commitment to both product innovation and customer success.
“What attracted me to RCF was the opportunity to contribute on a much larger scale,” said Curtis. “I’ve always enjoyed helping people better understand sound systems and making complex topics more accessible. RCF has built an incredible reputation for delivering outstanding performance and value across virtually every application, and I’m excited to help customers understand not only what our products can do, but how to get the most out of them through education, system design and technical support.”
