In-Vehicle Demonstrations Will Take Place at The Village Studios in West Los Angeles


Santa Monica, Calif. (Feb. 3, 2015) — At the eighth annual GRAMMY® Week event hosted by The Recording Academy® Producers & Engineers Wing®, one of the event's platinum sponsors, ELS Studio Premium Audio® – Powered by Panasonic – will be featured in a series of special demos. The ELS Studio Premium Audio surround sound automotive system will be the subject of in-vehicle demonstrations inside the arrival tent at the event, taking place Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at The Village Studios in West Los Angeles. P&E Wing founding member Elliot "ELS" Scheiner, renowned for his work with the Eagles, Steely Dan and Beck, among many others, will lead the demos showcasing this surround sound experience. ELS Studio Premium Audio is a collaboration between Scheiner, Panasonic and Acura engineers. Personally involved in each phase of development, Scheiner utilized his expertise as a GRAMMY-winning recording engineer and producer to tune the ELS Studio Premium Audio system to the TLX's specific acoustic environment.

This year's event honors three-time GRAMMY winner Nile Rodgers for his commitment to excellence and ongoing support for the art and craft of recorded music. As the Producers & Engineers Wing 2015 honoree, Rodgers joins an impressive list of past honorees: Chris Blackwell; T Bone Burnett; Tom Dowd; Ahmet and Nesuhi Ertegun; Jimmy Iovine; Quincy Jones; Arif Mardin; Al Schmitt; Jerry Wexler; and Neil Young.
