FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Interface Is Foundational for Content Builder Tenderfoot.TV

Affordability, portability and ease of use are the main reasons that this acclaimed Atlanta podcast and storytelling startup has made the Focusrite 2i2 interface a key component in its production kit

Los Angeles, CA, April 9, 2020 – Founded by Atlanta director and independent filmmaker Payne Lindsey and music industry veteran Donald Albright, Tenderfoot.TV has become a highly respected hub for content creators and storytellers, bolstered by true-crime podcasts like Up and Vanished, Sworn and Atlanta Monster. Tenderfoot strives to tell compelling stories that connect with the audience, delivering those stories in an entertaining fashion that keeps the audience engaged. Key to making that happen is the company’s reliance on the Scarlett 2i2 audio interface from Focusrite. For the last year, three of these simple yet powerful USB interfaces have been instrumental in getting Tenderfoot.TV’s stories across to tens of thousands of listeners.

“The Scarlett 2i2 is affordable and portable and incredibly easy to use, so it’s become part of our start-up podcast kit that we provide to our producers,” says Mason Lindsey, Producer for Tenderfoot.TV and a producer on Sworn, the sister podcast of Up and Vanished, as well as a main coordinator for Up and Vanished: Live events. Part of Tenderfoot.TV’s production kit, the Scarlett 2i2 assures that the story gets delivered clearly and intelligibly, every time. “No matter what level a producer is at in terms of technical knowledge, the Scarlett is totally user friendly,” says Lindsey, who discovered the Scarlett 2i2 a little over a year ago as he researched assembling a consistent production rig. “They can figure it out within minutes, and it never lets them down.”

Two of Tenderfoot.TV’s three Scarlet 2i2 units are used regularly in the field, while the third is assigned to the company’s Atlanta facility. Lindsey says that as Tenderfoot.TV continues to expand, the Scarlett 2i2 will remain a core component of its audio signal chain. “The Scarlett 2i2 does everything we need it to, and it does it flawlessly,” he says. “It would be hard to improve on perfection.”
