Emerald City Glistens Like a Gem With Beautiful New Studio by Carl Tatz Design

Nashville, TN: Internationally acclaimed a cappella engineer/producer Danny Ozment and his highly experienced pops and classical music producer wife Erin Ozment, along with their two children, have recently moved their Emerald City Productions from the Washington, DC area to Franklin, TN, outside of Music City – into a brand new custom home that includes a Carl Tatz Design recording studio featuring a CTD MixRoom™ and PhantomFocus™ System. Built from the ground up, the studio offers a large tracking room with eighteen-foot angled ceilings with distressed barn wood flooring and a large overdub booth with excellent sight lines to the MixRoom. Warm, comfortable and airy with windows overlooking its pastoral setting, the facility is postured to accommodate anything from large tracking sessions to overdubs and world-class editing and mixing.  The well-appointed skylit cathedral ceiling lounge, kitchenette and full bath provide musicians with a chill area in between sessions. “Carl is very hands-on during the entire process, and that was very welcome. He takes ownership of the project and doesn’t hand it over to you until he’s pleased with the result. I’m very thankful that I hired Carl to design the new location for Emerald City Productions,” comments Danny Ozment. The studio's featured CTD MixRoom, which utilizes the Carl Tatz Design Signature Series™ acoustic modules by Auralex®, is highlighted by Tatz's proprietary PhantomFocus System driving the new PhantomFocus™ Monitors. “Carl’s PhantomFocus System has eliminated my need to regularly check mixes on other systems or in different environments.
