AES Offers Offsite Facility Tours During 59th International Conference
on Sound Reinforcement Engineering and Technology


— Tours of Maison Symphonique, home of l'Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and one of the preeminent concert halls of its generation; Solotech, one of North America's largest end-to-end providers of entertainment technology services; and Société des Arts Technologiques (SAT) are set to be conference highlights —


New York, NY, July 8, 2015 — The AES 59th International Conference, with an emphasis on Sound Reinforcement Engineering and Technology, will be taking place July 15-17, 2015, at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. This is the first AES International Conference in over 25 years dedicated to Large Scale Sound Reinforcement, Public Address and Live Sound, and a number of special events are planned for the conference, including three offsite facility tours giving a taste of Montreal’s professional and academic audio community.

There will also be a special, behind the scenes tour of Solotech, one of North America's largest end-to-end providers of entertainment technology services, with clients ranging from Celine Dion to Justin Timberlake to Leonard Cohen.

Finally, there will be a tour of le Société des Arts Technologiques (SAT), an organization known for its active and leading role in the development of immersive technologies and augmented reality through the creative use of very high-speed networks.
