WAVES INTRODUCES TDM PLUG-INS
WITH COMPATIBILITY FOR DIGIDESIGN VENUE CONSOLES
— New release accompanied by new WavesLive.com website —
WINTER NAMM SHOW, ANAHEIM, CA, January 15, 2009
— Due to the popularity of Waves’ Live Bundle, Waves Live
Division announced today that more than 50 of their most popular plug-ins
are now compatible with Digidesign®’s D-Show Software. Customers
will be able to enjoy award-winning Waves TDM plug-in products such
as the SSL 4000 Collection, The API Collection and the C4 Multiband
Compressor, as well as the acclaimed L-Series limiters, for use in live
sound. These TDM plug-ins can run on Digidesign VENUE consoles using
the Waves D-Show Enabler. Current Waves TDM users can purchase the D-Show
Enabler for $35.00, making their Waves products fully VENUE-compatible.
Supporting the release of this new compatibility, the
WavesLive website (www.waveslive.com) features in-depth information
on Waves’ extensive line of processors for live sound. From equalizers,
channel strips, limiters, compressors and reverbs to effects, the same
plug-ins heard on hit records, in major motion pictures and on popular
video games the world over are now accessible to live sound engineers.
“Waves has worked side-by-side with Digidesign for
over 15 years, creating the tools that have been at the forefront of
the digital sound revolution,” commented Gilad Keren, CEO of Waves
Ltd. “Now that this revolution is coming to live sound, it’s
going to transform the creative capabilities of front of house and monitoring
engineers.”
“We’re always looking for ways to provide our customers
with more creative options, and these industry-leading plug-ins will
provide VENUE users with just that,” said Tex Schenkkan, Vice
President and General Manager, Audio at Avid® Technology, of which
