WAVES ANNOUNCES VERSION 5.9 SOFTWARE FOR INTEL-BASED MACS

121st AES CONVENTION, SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 6, 2006 — Waves has announced the availability of version 5.9, which makes the entire line of Waves digital audio plug-ins fully compatible with Intel-based Macs. Version 5.9 enables users to combine the improved digital processing power of Intel-based Mac computers with the creative sound processing power of Waves.

“Waves users can now take advantage of the increased processing power of Apple’s Intel-based MacBook and iMac computers,” commented Waves CEO Gilad Keren. “Waves is committed to supporting the Mac platform, and this release of Version 5.9 gives our customers even greater efficiency and flexibility.”
