VOX OFFERS LIMITED EDITION
REISSUE TEARDROP GUITARS AND BASSESMELVILLE, NY — As a part of the celebration of VOX's 50th anniversary, the company has produced a very limited number of VOX reissue Teardrop guitars and basses. VOX’s Mark III series dominated the British invasion of the 60s, and now, collector’s edition recreations of those models will be offered in the U.S.–– only 10 Mark III guitars and 20 Mark III hollow basses will be made available on a first-come first-served basis.
The VOX Teardrop Limited Edition Guitars are built in the U.S.A. and feature an aspen body and maple neck with rosewood fretboard and medium jumbo frets. Also included are two vintage Alnico single-coil pickups, a pick up selector switch and controls for tone and volume. They are finished in white with a chrome pickguard.
The VOX Teardrop Bass Limited Edition Bass features a mahogany body with a carved maple top, a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets (plus zero fret) with a 30? (770 mm) scale length. It includes two VOX custom design single-coil pickups with a 3-way toggle, controls for volume and tone, and a VOX custom tailpiece. The VBW-2000 comes in a 3-color sunburst with a natural vintage finish on the back and headstock.
