VOX ANNOUNCES CHICKENFOOT CD GIVEAWAY
— Partnership with Joe Satriani yields extra incentive for fans —
MELVILLE, NY, June 11, 2009 — VOX has announced that from now until August 31st, 2009 (or while supplies last), they will be giving away a free copy of the new self-titled Chickenfoot CD to anyone who purchases a new VOX Joe Satriani signature pedal.
In early 2008, VOX announced their partnership with guitarist Joe Satriani to design a series of signature effect pedals. Since then, the original Satchurator distortion pedal has been joined by the Time Machine digital delay and the Big Bad Wah. All three are now available in stores.
Chickenfoot is Joe Satriani's latest musical project, which also features the talents of Sammy Hagar (vocals), Michael Anthony (bass) and Chad Smith (drums). The band's first album was released on June 8th, 2009. Chickenfoot will be playing dates in Europe this summer and returning to tour the States in August and September.
