VOX DISPLAYS AD60VTX AND AD120VTX VALVETRONIX™ AMPS FEATURING CUSTOM NEODOG SPEAKERS— VOX offers a broad range of Valvetronix amps
in a variety of configurations and price points to meet every player’s needs —
VOX is exhibiting the AD60VTX (60 Watt) and AD120VTX (120 Watt) combo amplifiers from its critically acclaimed Valvetronix™ line, which comprises a full array of amps in different configurations and price points to meet every guitarist’s needs. The AD60VTX and AD120VTX amps offer all the features of the popular AD60VT and AD120VT combos, plus the same custom-designed Celestion Neodymium NeoDog speakers found in the AD412/212 cabinet models. Designed specifically for VOX, these speakers utilize highly efficient, ultra-lightweight Neodymium magnets that provide greater warmth and power.
The AD60VTX and AD120VTX power amp section has been fine-tuned to take full advantage of the NeoDog’s capabilities. In addition, the amplifiers feature a closed back cabinet design and provide switchable impedance (8, 16 Ohms) for accurate matching to external speaker cabinets if desired.As with all other Valvetronix models, the AD60VTX and AD120VTX incorporate VOX’s patented Valve Reactor™ circuitry, 16 amp models, 32 programs that can be stored in memory, 22 programmable effect types, the ability to match output power to the wattage of the amp being modeled, built-in Korg auto chromatic tuner, and more. The AD60VTX and AD120VTX combos also feature traditional VOX styling and are constructed of high-grade plywood for superior sound and durability.
Two optional foot controllers are available (VC-4 and VC-12) for more flexibility.
Dimensions of the AD60VTX are 20.87"(W) x 10.51"(D) x 22"(H); the AD120VTX measures 27.52"(W) x 10.51"(D) x 22"(H). AD60VTX weighs 39.68 lbs. and AD120VTX is 57.3 lbs.
The VOX Valvetronix AD60VTX and AD120VTX modeling amps are currently available with respective U.S. MSRPs of $1,049 and $1,499.
