SKB UPDATES RAIL-PACK CASE LINE

ORANGE, CA, July 24, 2008 — SKB Corporation, a leader in the protection and transport of musical instruments and equipment, introduces several upgraded models in its hard shell “Rail-Pack” stand case line. These upgraded cases include the 1SKB-H3611 ATA Compact Stand Case, 1SKB-H4812W ATA Regular Stand Case, 1SKB-H4816W ATA Large Stand Case, and 1SKB-H5020W ATA XL Stand Case. Intended for the secure transport of mic stands, drum hardware, etc., these products offer the ultimate in hard-shell protection with the convenience of practical portability.

These new “Rail-Pack” cases feature vacuum-formed Polyethylene hard-shell construction; sturdy built-in wheels; cushioned rubber over-molded injection molded handles; oversized protective bumpers; and SKB’s proprietary trigger release latching system with TSA recognized and accepted locking latches, enabling users to securely lock the cases and still have them inspected by airline security personnel and safely checked as luggage.

All cases are certified ATA (Air Transport Association) rated Specification 300, Category 1, the highest standard for an airline transport container, assuring a minimum of 100 common carrier trips.
