SAE INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES
EDUCATIONAL PARTNERSHIP WITH MACKIE
— Mackie joins SAE Institute’s US facilities with equipment
and support for in-house and extracurricular activities —
SAE Institute, the world’s largest multi-campus
pro audio education organization, is pleased to bring longtime industry
leader Mackie onboard in its latest US educational partnership. Acclaimed
for its industry-standard consoles and recording gear, Mackie will provide
equipment and support for the many events, demonstrations, and promotions
that SAE participates in throughout the year.
Mackie has provided 8-bus analog mixing consoles and 24/96
Mackie HDR systems to SAE’s US campuses for use during special
events and operations on campus or on location at various off-site events.
Providing a mobile platform for live, hands-on demonstrations in the
field, SAE is able to set up its own unique technology booth at the
many trade shows, music festivals, and concert venues where it exhibits
across the country. Visitors to the SAE show areas will have the opportunity
to try their hand at “mixing” a recording and gaining an
interesting and interactive insight into some of what is involved in
the recording process. SAE staff will be on hand to provide demonstrations
and answer questions.
Further Mackie involvement with SAE Institute will include
technical support, product demonstrations, and upcoming contests with
Mackie prize packages and SAE educational scholarships.
“SAE is proud to partner with such a key industry
leader as Mackie to futher our educational capabilities and exposure,”
stated Mark Martin, Vice President of Marketing, US. “We have
used Mackie equipment in our US schools since the first campus, and
the gear has not only proven itself with reliability and value, but
has helped the staff enhance the way we work. Mackie delivers a consistent
quality across its various product ranges, helping us to standardize
how we work, while supplying the students with professional industry
standard gear for their education,” Martin continues. “Mackie’s
participation in our on- and off-campus activities will continue our
positive growth and foster the expanding interest in our industry as
a whole.”
Mackie professional audio equipment can be found in SAE
Institute campuses in Miami, Nashville, and New York. For further information
