FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SAE INSTITUTE’S MIAMI CAMPUS EXHIBITS STRONG PRESENCE
AT LEADING ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL
— Leading educator in DJ and electronic music offers performance
and technique seminars at premiere winter festival —
MIAMI, FLORIDA, March 24, 2005 — SAE Institute, the world
leader on pro audio and electronic music education, is pleased to announce
their participation in the 2005 Winter Music Conference at the Wyndham
Resort, Miami Beach, March 22 – 26, 2005. SAE’s participation
for the 3rd consecutive year marks its continued support of this burgeoning
market and the local Miami music scene in which SAE students thrive.
Among the list of scheduled audio intensive showcases
and events at what has become the nations leading DJ and electronic
music festival, SAE will hold a series of technology demonstrations
giving attendees a first-hand look at the production and creation techniques
used by top artists and producers around the globe. Seminars will include:
Adding Audio Dynamic to a DJ Set; The Turntable as an Instrument; and
Digital Mixing. SAE will also host its own technology booth with ongoing
classes and interactive discussions led by SAE Miami’s resident
DJ instructor DJ Jase and featuring an array of top audio and music
production gear provided by SAE Institute’s highly-successful
djschool@sae “Turntable Essence” DJ program. Hands-on DJ
stations will also be set up around the booth for personal demonstrations
and direct interaction with SAE staff and student representatives.
Commenting on SAE’s participation in this years
event, SAE Miami Director Chris Davie stated “We are really excited
to once again participate in such a widely acclaimed music festival
– especially one that highlights the personality of the local
music community, as our Miami campus continues to do. Through these
events we are able to bring full audio production tools outside of the
class and into very a high-energy environment that really brings out
the passion and impact that these musicians and producers have for their
music. This is one of the few opportunities that brings the immediacy
of the music, the gear, and crowd all into one encompassing event. It’s
exciting to see someone realize that what they just heard in one of
our seminars is directly related to what’s going on on-stage.
We are there to fill an important role in translating how the music
is made and how an artists’ dreams can take them from a turntable
in their bedroom to playing at a huge festival like this. As SAE grows
and expands, so too does the audio community as a whole, as these events
are one more way in which we bring that experience to those who create
music of any genre,” Davie concludes.
