SAE INSTITUTE AND NATIVE INSTRUMENTS
ANNOUNCE EDUCATIONAL PARTNERSHIP

— SAE integrates latest software synth into educational curriculum worldwide —

HOLLYWOOD, CA, March 15, 2005 — World pro audio education leader SAE Institute and acclaimed pro audio software manufacturer Native Instruments have recently announced international implementation of Native’s new NI Komplete 2 software bundle in over 40 SAE campuses. Driven by a longstanding relationship and SAE’s continued support of Native Instruments products, this new initiative will offer yet another set of valuable resources to SAE campus facilities worldwide.

Increasingly, SAE has proudly implemented software synthesizers and virtual instruments into its curriculum and basic knowledge set of graduating students. Several programs from Native Instruments, including their acclaimed Reaktor and Kontakt software packages, are already standard curriculum, while the advanced virtual instrument and sound design bundle NI Komplete 2 will serve to further students experience and understanding of the groundbreaking possibilities available with such software packages. As part of the new partnership, Native Instruments will also offer on-campus workshops and student discounts on qualifying products, as well as work with SAE to design relevant curriculum and support for future upgrades and releases.

“We are delighted to enter such a comprehensive cooperation with SAE,” stated Daniel Hayer, Director of Native Instruments. “Software instruments have become essential tools in every sector of audio production. NI Komplete 2 yields a creative potential that will allow SAE students further valuable insight into the possibilities of modern audio software,” Hayer concludes.

Rudi Grieme, Managing Director of SAE, comments on the cooperation: “Following the constructive evaluation phase of Native Instruments products, we are convinced that we have invested yet again in the most modern audio training worldwide. The ones that will truly benefit from this cooperation will be our students’ who will have access to an even bigger range of professional software. We look forward to this cooperation!"
