SAE INSTITUTE AND MACKIE OFFER
AUDIO TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIPS
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK, February 15, 2005 —
Building on a longstanding educational partnership, SAE Institute and
Mackie are pleased to announce the first ever SAE Institute/Mackie International
Scholarship Contest, which will award one international and one U.S.
full tuition scholarship to the SAE location of the recipients choice.
As part of the application process, potential students
must submit a portfolio of creative works or productions for review.
Entrants must also provide an outline of their own relevant experiences
and goals in the audio industry, as well as a statement explaining why
they are the best candidate to receive this scholarship. Applicants
will then mail entries and related submissions to the SAE campus that
they would like to attend. All 41 participating SAE Institute campuses
around the world are accepting entries from February 14, 2005 through
March 31, 2005.
Downloadable applications are currently available at http://www.sae.edu/scholarship/index.html#
Each individual school will select two finalists from their location.
These two finalists will then be submitted to Mackie for final judging,
and Mackie will choose one international and one U.S. scholarship winner.
