FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SAE INSTITUTE LOS ANGELES OFFERS HIGH-TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION AND COMMMUNITY
INVOLVEMENT
— SAE sponsors local fundraiser events and educational outreach
programs while offering real-life experience for students —
HOLLYWOOD, CA, April 20, 2005 — The world’s leader
in pro audio education, SAE Institute, having recently announced the
construction of its new Los Angeles campus, has already begun to leave
its positive mark on the surrounding community. Through its ongoing
sponsorships and support for fundraising and local community-building
programs, SAE continues to make unique and meaningful contributions
to the communities it inhabits.
One of the first community involvement projects is SAE’s
participation in the upcoming “Hollywood Cops That Rock”
CD project, featuring a band made up predominantly of LAPD officers
and members of the local Hollywood PAL (Police Activities League) organization.
The CD, to be recorded and produced by SAE, will be on sale within the
community to help raise money for the various PAL programs which are
offered to area residents. These programs include a variety of activities
for 5 – 18 year olds including sports, educational programs, a
Junior Police Academy, and now a chance to take an active role in what
will be the Hollywood PAL organizations first official album. SAE will
also take part in the Benefit for Hollywood PAL concert at the Henry
Fonda Theatre on September 15th, 2005, once again providing onsite audio
assistance.
Commenting on SAE’s involvement and volunteer efforts
with the new recording, Hollywood PAL Board of Directors member Brian
Folb states, “The entire Hollywood PAL organization is really
excited about the opportunity to extend our outreach in such a creative
and intelligent way. By being able to combine the talents of LAPD officers
with the facilities and expertise of SAE, we are able to create a comfortable
environment in which we can connect youth in a positive way to the police,
as well as providing exciting activities for youth and police officers
to participate in together within their own community. These cooperative
efforts between police officers, local businesses, family residences
and a high-tech educational facility like SAE will culminate in a community-based
recording with a powerful message which we will then use to raise money
for future projects and other Hollywood PAL activities, so everybody
has great time for a great cause,” Folb concludes.

Another such event for the new campus was SAE’s
sponsorship of “Bobby D’s Rock to the Bone” Fundraiser
Concert event at the Key Club in West Hollywood that took place on March
12 th, 2005. The concert was put together by local musicians to raise
money and awareness for Leukemia and bone marrow testing, while providing
support for local patients dealing with similar issues. In addition
to being a sponsor for the event, SAE also provided equipment and remote
recording facilities to capture the numerous band performances throughout
the night, as well as donating a 3-cut studio and engineer recording
package to be given away to one lucky attendee. For more information
