SAE INSTITUTE'S NASHVILLE CAMPUS HOSTS SPECIAL SESSIONS WITH FAMED ENGINEER/PRODUCER
STEVE ALBINI
NASHVILLE, TN, October 16, 2006 — Leading pro audio and multimedia
educator SAE Institute recently hosted a special day long series of
exclusive in-studio seminars by renowned recording engineer/producer/artist
Steve Albini. Focusing on a variety of relevant topics, Albini combined
practical, real-time tracking and mixdown demonstrations with unique
insight into his own industry successes from the past 20-plus years
for SAE students in attendance.
Known for his work with groundbreaking artists such as
The Pixies, Nirvana and Nine Inch Nails, Albini was brought to SAE Nashville
as the latest special guest in the school's series of on-campus workshops
and seminars. Attendees received interactive instruction on an array
of important setup and critical listening techniques, primarily focusing
on drum and percussion recording and mixing, as well as important studio
etiquette and client procedures.
