MELVILLE, NY, July 28, 2005 — Inspect Her Gadget pride themselves on having developed into a powerful yet melodic, all-female band who have been capturing audiences with their catchy yet diverse original songs, cleverly poignant lyrics and riot grrl-ish bite. Signed to MyShorts Records in 2004, the band has since opened for bands such as Kittie and The Donnas, and had their music featured on MTV shows Punk'd and Making the Video. Recently, they played dates on the 2005 Vans Warped Tour.Guitarist Jess Loberstein relies on her Marshall MG100HDFX head and MG412A cabinet to get the diverse tones she needs on stage. She enthuses, "With most amps, you either get a really great clear, crisp sound with the clean channel and an ‘ok’ distortion, or the other way around — the perfect distortion but then the clean channel just isn't where you'd like it to be. With my Marshall Amp I’m always able to achieve the exact sound I want regardless of what channel I’m on or what effect I’m using.”
Inspect Her Gadget continues on the tour circuit with select dates throughout the summer, including an appearance during the popular Bank of the West Beach Games in Los Angeles. The event features surfing, motocross, BMX, skateboarding and beach volleyball accented by live music.
