MARSHALL AMPLIFICATION TAKES THE STAGE AT
FLORIDA GRAMMY® SHOWCASE
MELVILLE, NY, February 6, 2006 — Marshall Amplification was recently chosen as an equipment sponsor for the second Florida GRAMMY® Showcase held in Miami Beach, Florida. Marshall’s distinctive “Sound of Rock” was heard throughout the event, which consisted of live performances from six unsigned acts selected from over 230 entries.Shown onstage is showcase finalist Francesca Battistelli, performing in front of over 250 top music industry professionals. The Florida Chapter Board of Governors acted as judges in awarding artist development packages to winners. In addition, 50 percent of net proceeds were donated to the MusiCares Hurricane Relief Fund, which provides direct assistance to those in the music community affected by this season's devastating hurricanes.
