MARSHALL GUITAR AMPLIFIERS TAKE THE STAGE AT 2009 FLORIDA GRAMMY® SHOWCASEMELVILLE, NY, July 22, 2009 — Marshall Amplification announces that it was recently chosen as an equipment sponsor for the 2009 Florida GRAMMY® Showcase held in Miami Beach, Florida. The distinctive sounds of Marshall amps were heard throughout the event, which consisted of live performances from six unsigned acts selected from hundreds of entries. Miami-based bands ArtOfficial and Awesome New Republic took home grand prize and runner-up honors, respectively.
This year’s Florida GRAMMY Showcase was part of the opening night of the 2009 Florida Music Festival and Conference, which was hosted by Mel Taylor of Orlando’s rock station WJRR and also featured a performance by DJ John Debo.
