MELVILLE, NY, September 1, 2010 — Korg announces the addition of the AW-2U to its popular clip-on tuner line. Inspired by the recent upswing of ukuleles being used in today’s popular music, the new tuner provides easy and accurate tuning for all types of ukuleles, from four-stringed soprano ukuleles to eight-stringed baritone models. The AW-2U is also a must-have item for anyone who plays Hawaiian ukulele music, from the beginner to the advanced player.
The AW-2U features four tuning modes to support all types of ukuleles, complemented by an internal mic and a piezo sensor. The string name and note name are automatically detected and clearly displayed. A double ball joint mount allows the display to be positioned in a variety of ways, for optimal viewing. In addition, two backlight modes allow clear viewing in any scenario. The soft mode can be used for low-illumination; auto mode for high brightness.
A single CR2032 battery powers the tuner; Auto Power Off prevents battery drain.
The Korg AW-2U Clip-on Ukulele tuner will be available fall 2010 for a U.S. MSRP of $65.00. |
