HENRY FINKE APPOINTED SENIOR DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING FOR LEXICON AND REVEL BRANDS
BEDFORD, MA, April 14, 2006 — As part of its continued support and expansion of the leading consumer audio brands Lexicon and Revel, the Harman Specialty Group, a Harman International Company (NYSE-HAR), has appointed industry veteran Henry “Hank” Finke to the position of Senior Director of Sales and Marketing. The announcement was made by Andrew Clark, Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Lexicon and Revel at the Bedford, Massachusetts-based company, and signals the Harman Specialty Group’s ongoing commitment to fulfilling the demands of the specialty retail and custom install markets.
In his new position, Hank Finke is responsible for coordinating the sales and marketing efforts for the acclaimed Lexicon and Revel product lines throughout the United States and Canada. He will be concentrating his efforts on growing the brands in the Custom Installation and Specialty Retail channels, drawing on his extensive industry experience and wide range of contacts while building lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships with HSG’s representatives and dealers.
Prior to joining HSG, Hank Finke acted as Director of Worldwide Sales for ReQuest, Inc, where he significantly expanded the company’s sales and distribution globally while strengthening vendor/dealer relationships. Finke also previously held the position of Nationals Sales Manager with Genelec Inc. Active Home Theater Systems, where he was instrumental in launching Genelec’s home theater division. In addition, Finke has held key management positions at KEF/KH America as well as JBL Consumer Products.
Commenting on the appointment, Andrew Clark stated, “Hank is a great addition to the Lexicon and Revel team. His strengths dovetail nicely with the rest of the players. His knowledge, experience, and contacts within the industry will be extremely beneficial. In addition, his close association with the Custom Installation community will help Lexicon and Revel to strengthen those relationships. We are very pleased to have him on our team.”
