CELESTION SALES TEAM EXPANDED— New recruit is part of larger growth plan —
MARLBORO, NJ, July 31, 2006 — Celestion, a leading designer and manufacturer of raw frame drivers for the professional audio and musical instrument industries, is pleased to announce the recruitment of Stan Burjek to the role of OEM Sales Manager (Central & Eastern USA).Originally from Chicago, and currently based in Illinois, Stan has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and began his career as a design engineer for General Motors, later moving on to become a sales professional. He has worked in the automotive industry for more than 10 years.
Supporting OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) customers in the Central and Eastern part of the United States, Stan joins established OEM sales manager Rick Skillman in a team headed up by Andy Farrow.
It’s all part of a larger growth plan, according to General Manager, Nigel Wood: “We are predicting strong growth, coming from a concentrated effort to develop further our OEM customer base for professional audio, bass and guitar chassis. Having more salesmen on the ground enables us to develop and maintain strong relationships with our existing customers and to extend this customer-focused attitude to the acquisition of new OEM accounts.”
“Stan has a blend of OEM sales skills and engineering know-how that will be invaluable to the Celestion sales team,” commented Farrow. “It puts him instantly in tune with our OEM customers and will enable him to quickly consolidate and extend our customer base within this region.”
