FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GUITAR CENTER PROFESSIONAL EXPANDS ITS NASHVILLE FACILITY
WITH NEW KEY PERSONNEL

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA, September 15, 2008 — Guitar Center Professional (GC Pro), the outside sales division of Guitar Center that focuses on the needs of professional users, announces the expansion of its Nashville facility with three new personnel. Adam Hudson now serves as Account Manager and Artist Relations Representative, Allison Thompson serves as Logistics Coordinator and Greg Glaser is now a GC Pro Sales rep. These individuals will work closely with Chad Evans, Account Manager, GC Pro Nashville. The entire four-person team reports directly to Derek Snyder, Regional Manager. The announcement was made by GC Pro’s Director, Rick Plushner, and reflects the division’s commitment to providing comprehensive customer service, as well as substantial growth.

Adam Hudson (Artist Relations Rep/Account Manager) has been part of the Guitar Center/GC Pro family for several years. Starting in the Knoxville store, he was transferred to Nashville in December of that year and has held several different positions at that location since then, including Assistant Manager and Artist Relations Manager for Guitar Center. This July, his Artist Relations Manager position was enhanced by joining the GC Pro team. Prior to his work for Guitar Center, Adam was a trumpet major at the University of Tennessee and was a tour manager for Derek Trucks Band and Gran Torino and a crew member for Dave Matthews Band.

Allison Thompson (Logistics Coordinator) moves into her current position, having been with Guitar Center since May 2006. She began in operations at the Central Chicago store, and then she was transferred to the Nashville store, serving as Operations Assistant and Artist Relations Associate. Prior to joining up with Guitar Center/GC Pro, Allison worked as Assistant Director of Alumni Relations for Illinois State University.

Greg Glaser (GC Pro Sales Rep) was with Guitar Center for almost three years before joining the GC Pro sales force. With Guitar Center, he was Department Manager of Pro Audio, and his knowledge in this field greatly informs his new capacity in Sales with GC Pro. His passion for gear extends far beyond his time spent in the Nashville store, as he spends his free time tracking and mixing in his personal home studio. His interest in music goes back to his early years, when he began ravenously learning to play every instrument he could, from tuba to harp.

All three personnel are keenly excited about further developing the client base and interacting with the ever-growing Nashville market. Commenting on these new appointments, Plushner stated, “Our expanding GC Pro team in Nashville is already serving this wildly active and vital market with a remarkable vigor and focus. These three individuals each bring something wonderful and different to the table, reflecting the diverse nature of the professional audio industry in Nashville, therefore creating comprehensive, accessible resources for our customers’ benefit. We are proud of not only these three members of our Nashville team but our entire GC Pro force nationwide, who have rightly earned GC Pro a singular reputation; no other pro audio dealer can offer GC Pro’s level of personnel resources, unmatched service and expert advice, or call upon such a vast spectrum of products lines.”
