Audio-Technica Debuts ES945/LED Omnidirectional and ES947/LED
Cardioid Condenser Boundary Microphones
— Featuring a built-in mute switch and Red/Green LED indicator ring, both mics offer an advanced
but intuitive audio solution that’s perfect for conference room applications —
INFOCOMM, LAS VEGAS, NV, June 18, 2014 — Audio-Technica (Booth C10520), a leading innovator in transducer technology for over 50 years, introduces new table-mount LED microphones that bring convenience, control and superior audio to a variety of presentation environments. The ES945/LED Omnidirectional and ES947/LED Cardioid Condenser Boundary Microphones both feature a 360° Red/Green LED indicator ring. Part of Audio-Technica’s Engineered Sound™ (ES) line, these microphones are available exclusively to contractors and system integrators.
The ES945/LED Omnidirectional and ES947/LED Cardioid Condenser Button-style Boundary Microphones provide clear, highly intelligible audio that is perfect for video conferencing, teleconferencing, audio recording, and other demanding sound pickup applications. Each mic is protected by a rugged, all-metal case with a dual-layer steel mesh grille, and features a low-profile design that allows it to be mounted unobtrusively in a tabletop. Users can locally mute and un-mute each microphone thanks to a capacitive-type touch-sensitive switch; the Red/Green LED indicator that encircles the grille alerts user to audio status – it glows green when live and turns red when muted. These phantom-powered mics are equipped with a 3-pin XLRM output and boast UniGuard® RFI-shielding technology for outstanding rejection of radio frequency interference. Both models are available in black (ES945/LED, ES947/LED) and silver (ES945SV/LED, ES947SV/LED).
ES945/LED Omnidirectional and ES947/LED Cardioid Condenser Boundary Microphones will be available July 2014 with U.S. MSRP of $299 and $320 respectively.
