Willcox Guitars Endorsed by Top Instrumentalists

Summer NAMM Show, Nashville, Tennessee, July 9, 2015 – Willcox Guitars (booth 1432), an acclaimed instrument manufacturer and a leading innovator in guitar and bass pickups and related technologies through its proprietary LightWave Systems (LWS), is gaining popularity among top players nationwide. Recently added artist endorsers include guitarist Dann Glenn, bassist Mark Corradetti and guitarist Marc Cooper.

Dann Glenn is a Senior Product Endorser for the Atlantis HexFX™ Guitar Series. Well known in the realm of jazz-fusion and beyond, Glenn is acclaimed for his virtuosity and angular approach to melody. Credits include work with Michael Bloomfield, Freddie King, Luther Tucker, Jennifer Batten, Jeff Berlin, Percy Jones and, recently, world-renowned drummer Virgil Donati, among other A-list musicians. Always at the forefront of his chosen instrument, he considers LightWave Systems’ optical pickup technology a crucial element of his sound. Glenn notes, "My Willcox Atlantis HexFx is the ultimate guitar. The LightWave Systems optical pickup is absolutely quiet, beyond powerful, and sonically superior to anything I've ever played. This guitar rings like a bell when played acoustically, and when I switch to HexFx mode...the entire musical universe opens up! Working with the Willcox Atlantis HexFx has made me a better and more versatile player.”

Mark Corradetti, also a Senior Product Endorser, currently uses Willcox’s Saber VL bass, a precision instrument that features a chambered swamp ash body, AAA flame maple top, three-piece rock maple neck, custom composite fingerboard, custom GraphTech monolithic bridge and LightWave System 2 analog optical pickup system. Corradetti is an active session player for artists that span the globe. Corradetti notes, “The Saber VL is an amazing bass. It captures every nuance, every time, which allows me to trust in its performance, and play from my heart. One Man, One Bass.”

Virtuoso guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, producer and author Marc Cooper (Coop) serves as Willcox artist endorser and Senior Product Advisory Consultant. Coop’s performing career has now taken him to over 60 countries, as he performs his engaging style of blues, rock and jazz to enthusiastic audiences. He currently leads a blues-rock band titled Marc Cooper and CoopDeVille. Coop has also performed with such talents as Joe Walsh, Steve Howe, Danny Gatton, Pat Travers, Brett Garsed, Jennifer Batten, Nik West, Rhonda Smith and Kat Dyson Prince, Narada Michael Walden, Gregg Bissonette, Uli Jon Roth, Andy Timmons, Tower of Power, Elvin Bishop and harp legend James Cotton. His latest CD and DVD is called Alive and Burning Blues Sessions and was filmed live at the PBS TV station KIXE in northern California. Coop is the author of eight books on guitar instruction, and his latest e-book is called The Art of Guitar.
