Sound Solutions Appoints Jonathan Derda as National Sales and Marketing Manager
Company strengthens its executive lineup as it positions itself to further support its dealers
Chicago, IL, December 17, 2014 — Sound Solutions, the exclusive U.S. distributor of Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab music and accessories, Avid HiFi turntables, Solidsteel audio furniture, Balanced Audio Technology electronics and Wharfedale loudspeakers, today announced it has appointed Jonathan Derda as National Sales and Marketing Manager. The announcement was made by Norbert Schmied, Managing Director of Sound Solutions, and further signifies the company’s commitment to becoming the leading distributor of specialist audio products. In his new position, Derda will be responsible for U.S. sales, marketing and marketing communications for the Sound Solutions brands.
Jonathan Derda has twenty-two years of experience in the audio industry. Derda learned the fundamentals working in his father’s store Audio Exchange in Mishawaka, IN. He later held sales and managerial positions at the noted Colorado audio/video retailer ListenUp. Prior to joining Sound Solutions, Derda was National Sales Manager and North America Director of Training and Communications at high-performance, high-value audio component manufacturer Peachtree Audio.
