Sound Quality Takes the Stage at GRAMMY® FutureNow


SANTA MONICA, Calif. (July 5, 2012) — A highlight of GRAMMY® FutureNow, a day-long conference produced by The Recording Academy Los Angeles Chapter on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, Calif., was the presentation led by GRAMMY-winning engineer Andrew Scheps (Adele, Audioslave, Linkin Park, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers). Titled "Lost in Translation," the presentation guided attendees through an auditory experience examining the difference between an artist's mastered track and different consumer formats including vinyl, CD, MP3, AAC and streaming.
