EAW Products Selected for London’s Ealing
Christian Centre
EAW SM Series monitors are added to existing EAW KF600 Series
system
Whitinsville, MA, USA – February 9, 2009
– London’s Ealing Christian Centre (ECC) recently upgraded
its sound system and selected several EAW SM Series stage monitors for
vocalist and band use. The Centre already had an existing EAW KF600
Series Compact Three-Way VAT System, both ground-stacked and flown,
and they have been very happy with it since it was first installed four
years ago. The recent upgrade to the monitor system was accomplished
with the help of EAW’s UK dealer AA Systems (www.aa-systems.com).
“Sam Blake, ECC’s Music and Worship Director,
contacted me in November regarding upgrading the monitor system,”
stated Adrian Copestake of AA systems. “After learning that KF650z
Compact Array Loudspeakers and SB600z High-Output, Medium Format Subwoofers
were already installed, we soon agreed that the SM range of monitors
would fit the bill nicely. The system consists of four SM64’s
and four SM15’s – two left and two right. The SM64’s
will be used for the choir and the SM15’s for the musicians. Together,
combined with the amps and processors, this now provides the Centre
with eight EAW monitor mixes.”
Blake stated, “We have been thrilled with the EAW
KF600 Series PA – the sound quality has been exemplary. We simply
cannot wait to use the new SM Series monitors.”
Copestake continued: “When delivering the system
on January 23, 2009 – joined by Moray McMillin with EAW UK Applications
& Support – we were presented with a fabulous building that
would now be the home to the new monitors. We at AA Systems hope to
be working closely with Sam in the future, not only to help integrate
the new monitors but also to check and maintain the existing KF system.”
