Capitol Studios’ Paula Salvatore and Arthur Kelm to
Be Featured on Panels at The NAMM Show 2018

— Both sessions will take place on Sunday, January 28, 2018 —

Los Angeles, CA, January 22, 2018 – Recording industry executives Paula Salvatore and Arthur Kelm – key personnel from Capitol Studios, the iconic and state-of-the-art recording facility located in the historic Capitol Records building in Hollywood – will be featured in lectures at the upcoming NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, on Sunday, January 28, 2018.

At 12:00 noon on Sunday, Paula Salvatore (VP/Studio Manager, Capitol Studios) will be featured in the sit-down Q&A discussion “Lunch with Paula Salvatore,” where she will be interviewed by producer/engineer Dennis Moody. Salvatore will discuss her decades-long history in the Los Angeles-based studio industry and what it takes to remain on the cutting edge from a facility management perspective, as well as maintaining long-term client relationships. This session is part of the inaugural AES@NAMM Pro Sound Symposium and will take place at the Laguna A Main Stage Studio on the fourth floor of the Anaheim Hilton. Participation in AES@NAMM requires NAMM registration and separate AES@NAMM registration. Visit www.AESatNAMM.com for more information.

From 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., also on Sunday, Arthur Kelm (VP, General Manager and Chief Engineer, Capitol Studios) will be part of the panel “The Project Studio of 2025,” part of TEC Tracks at the convention’s NAMM U educational series. This panel will take place at the El Capitan room (Level 4) at the Anaheim Hilton. This session, featuring key engineers and industry experts, will discuss the evolution of the project studio during the next several years. New technologies, improved workflow and other innovations will be discussed, and questions answered. Phil Moon, former marketing executive with Yamaha, JBL Pro, Alesis and Lynx Studio Technology, will moderate. Alongside Kelm, other panelists will include Bob Bauman (co-founder and chief hardware engineer at Lynx Studio Technology), Peter Chaikin (Director, Recording Solutions for HARMAN Professional) and Marcus Ryle (founder of Line 6).

“Both Art and myself are very excited about participating at this year’s NAMM Show and being part of these two great events,” stated Paula Salvatore. “Both AES@NAMM and TEC Tracks are the perfect vehicles for industry leaders to share their real-world knowledge with attendees. See you in Anaheim!”
