Black Lion Audio Positions Itself for Next Phase of Growth

Company adds new personnel and products, and bolsters manufacturing capabilities,
as part of a new long-term strategic business plan

THE NAMM SHOW, Anaheim, CA, January 21, 2016 — Black Lion Audio (BLA) (Booth 6324/Hall A), an acclaimed manufacturer of professional audio signal processing, converters and other essential audio tools, has recently enacted a new strategic business plan, positioning the company for its next phase of growth. The announcement was made by company CEO Nate Bierdeman and further emphasizes the company’s ongoing dedication to long-term growth and global expansion.

As part of this initiative, which is bolstered by increased engineering and production capabilities, Bierdeman has assembled a team of industry veterans from the worlds of technology/engineering, marketing, and sales.

In past years, BLA has enjoyed world recognition for high-end audio modifications and is now focused on developing market-driven products for the recording, broadcast, live sound and post-production market sectors. BLA digital products have received acclaim for providing second-to-none solutions, including managing extremely accurate clocking and AD/DA conversion.

From a management standpoint, joining Neil Ziesing, Head of Worldwide Sales, are Terry Hardin (formerly of EMU, Antares, Digidesign, Universal Audio, Ableton and FXpansion) to the position of Key Accounts Manager; and Andrew Harris (former Northeast Sales Manager for Digidesign) to the position of Northeast Regional Sales Manager. To help guide product development and engineering, Ron Lorman, co-founder of Hartke Systems, has been named Chief Technical and Strategic Developer.

At the NAMM Show 2016, BLA is showing the Micro Clock MKIII, utilizing proprietary patented circuitry, which is rapidly becoming an international standard for precision clocking within the recording industry and live sound applications. Also on display are new mic preamps including the B12A MKII 500, Auteur MKII, and Auteur MKII 500, which will be complemented soon by a feature-full 500 series rack and the new B173 500.

“We have made a significant commitment, from a technology, personnel and financial standpoint, to expanding Black Lion Audio’s business and increasing our market share globally,” stated Bierdeman. “With these additions in place, we are poised for unprecedented growth in the coming months and years. In addition to our renowned Sparrow DA and AD converters, new products will be revealed in the near future to address both the professional and prosumer audio market.”

BLA products have been employed by leading industry figures such as Tony Maserati, Tom Lord-Alge, Michael Ilbert, Paul Epworth, Chris Tabron, Erik Zobler, Ron Entwistle, Justin Hergett, Ross Hogarth, Jon Castelli and George Landress, who have all used various BLA clocks, preamps and digital converters in their work with artists such as Travis, Adam Lambert, George Duke, Lady Gaga, Pink, Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams, Macklemore and Adele.
